My first hair cut

This is me after my first hair cut. We managed to save some of my lovely curls. I can see alot better now though. No more hair in my eyes. Just look at some of my previous pictures. I really look more grown up now too.

A Hug for Sasha

These two are very fond of each other. Our sweet little boy likes to give Sasha hugs. Arend still has to learn how to softly pet Sasha. But Sash takes it all with much love.

It's getting there. Just a few little things that still need to be done.

Arend definitely likes to point out the fishies and the birds. But what Arend is most fond of is the fans in the house. The first thing he does when he wakes up is point out all the fans in the house. And he will do that many more times throughout the day.

In the kitchen

I just love playing in the kitchen. Since the apartment is all carpet,
I come into the kitchen and like to throw everything on the floor so it makes
a loud noise. See my socks I got these from Caroline in Holland! They ratlle, and everybody
had a ball seeing me wear these! Poor me!

I love to drive!

Well even if the car is turned off I love to be behind the wheel.
I sometimes accidentally press the horn and then I jump in mommy's
arms, but not for long. I go right back behind the wheel!

Our new doors

These are the style of the new doors being put in the house.
The old doors had holes in them, so we decided to replace all the doors.

We stripped the walls. Sanded and patched them! We

Living Room

More work on the walls being done!

Hard Work

After taking of the old paint which was done like a Spanish style texture, the work to smooth out the walls
began. Before we took the paint off ourselves by scraping it off, we had had some experts come in. They told us that
because of what had been done to the walls by the previous owners, part of the walls on the inside walls would need to
be replaced. It actually looked like the walls of a mudd house.
Well, we decided to try to scrape it off ourselves, and most of it came off easily. Which meant that no
replacement of the inside walls was needed.
That was a couple grant extra in our pockets.
